Hedgerow Honey

Where:

Talks & Tipples - Outer Bailey

When:

John Ankers & Wendy Cooper ~ Hedgerow Honey

Hedgerow Honey is a family run business, with over 45 years experience with bees. John began keeping them when he was only 5 years old, working alongside his Grandfather.

It was when Wendy joined John in 2019 that the business grew, with now over 300 bee hives sited around Shropshire where they live, and 3 apiaries in North Wales where John originates from. Wendy is Shropshire born and bred.

They pride themselves in producing high quality local honey and hive products, working to enhance the environment around them, working closely with their farmers, providing crop pollination, which in turn minimises chemical usage.

They only work with farmers who share their ethos.

All the honey is natural, and harvested in a way that ensures the product retains its natural goodness and taste, from hive to jar.

Hedgerow honey range comprises of Shropshire honey, soft set honey, Wild flower honey, Borage honey and heather honey. They also produce honeycomb straight from the hive.
