Anthony Digweed, aka Digger

Digger and his wife Lorraine, have been creating excellent drinks in their Herefordshire winery for well over 20 years, and during that time have won numerous awards. Always using the best quality and 'real' ingredients - they've never used any artificial colours or flavours, and never will.

It all began when they  became fed up with being offered highly-coloured and over-sugared alcoholic drinks at parties and social gatherings, thinking there must be a better way, "Monkhide" was born, creating tasty drinks from fresh ingredients sourced as locally as possible. Not difficult when they already grow their own apples and pears, sourcing damsons and sloes from other family members.
